Bethlehem Youth Hockey is happy to announce its “A” and Wrap level coaches for the 2023-24 season.

18U Wrap – Dylan Lappe

Dylan Lappe has been the Head Coach for the Bethlehem High School Varsity Program since 2015.  He has led the BC Eagles to four section 2 Division 1 Championships.  Dylan has played hockey at the Youth, High School and Juniors level.  He is a level 4 USA Hockey certified coach.

16U Wrap – Rusty Gallagher (Head Coach)

Rusty Gallagher is the current North Section President for NYSAHA Hockey.  He has played hockey at the Juniors level and for the Siena Club team.  Rusty was a member of the coaching staff on the 2015 BYHA 12UA State Championship Team.  The past four seasons he has been the Head Coach for the BYHA 18U Wrap Tournament Bound team; having qualified and represented BYHA at the state tournament in each of those seasons including once again this year.  He is a Level 4 USA Hockey certified coach.

16U Wrap – Rebecca Caldon (Assistant Coach)

Rebecca Caldon played her youth hockey in Plattsburgh, NY.  She was a member of Plattsburgh’s first all-girl hockey team. Rebecca went on to play Division 3 hockey for Union College.  She has coached at every level within BYHA from Learn to Play through 14UA this past season.  She is a Level 4 USA Hockey certified coach.

14U A – Tony Healey, Jr.

Tony Healey played his High School hockey for Seton Catholic.  He went on to play at the National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association Level.  Tony is a four-time A-level coach at BYHA and coached the 14U A team last season.  He is a Level 4 USA Hockey certified coach.

12U A – Adam Cooper

Adam Cooper played his youth hockey for the Potsdam, NY Junior Hockey Association and went on to play three years of Division 1 New England Prep School hockey for The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, CT. Adam has coached youth hockey on and off since his teenage years. He is a two-time A-level coach at BYHA and was the BYHA 6U and 8U program coordinator. He is a Level 4 USA Hockey certified coach.

10U A – Ben Loefke

Ben Loefke has been with the Bethlehem Youth Hockey Association for four years serving as Head Coach and Coordinator of both our 6 and 8U Mite Programs.  He is the current Bethlehem High School Lacrosse Assistant Coach.   In 2003, Ben was selected as a High School Lacrosse All-American Defenseman.
